Our 1430 amphibious float is the worlds first all carbon fiber seaplane float. Using carbon fiber with advanced construction techniques produces a float that supersedes conventional aluminum or composites in strength, weight, stiffness and cosmetics.

The 1430-A features a smooth, seamless design which reduces drag in the air and in the water. The bottom is double fluted for hydrodynamic lift and clean water separation.

The 1430-A   has performance that is unequaled in a float of this class. Utilizing a Trailing Link design for the main gear and suspension supplied by gas-oleo shock absorber. This combination, along with a robust advanced composite nose gear offers true Soft Field landing capabilities.

The 1430-A uses the Grove amphibious 5.00×5″ wheel and brake system for superior braking  which is a must for proper control during taxing and landing.  The Grove amphibious wheel allows for reliable operation in a marine environment along with reduced maintenance costs and ease of service.  The nose gear uses a 4.10×3.50.x4″ wheel.  The larger diameter and width improves  control and performance when operating from Soft Fields. ( 4.00×4″ wheel and brakes and a 2.80×2.50×3″ nose wheel are also available as a weight saving option).

The 1430-A  has an Electro-Hydraulic actuated landing gear system.  The actuation is as Simple as a push of a button! The use of the High Quality, Lightweight components such as the Hyd. Pump, S.S. Cylinders and Hyd. Hose  provides safety and reliability along with reduced maintenance.
